Pizza Dough Recipe for Bread Machines

by HFFAdmin » Fri May 08, 2026 9:14 pm

I make my pizza dough in my bread maker, which makes it easy.

1 cup warm water

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon minced garlic (optional)

¼ teaspoon dried oregano (optional)

¼ teaspoon dried basil (optional)

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

¼ teaspoon dried cilantro (optional)

¼ teaspoon paprika (optional)

2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast

Put the water, olive oil, sugar, salt, flour, (garlic, oregano, basil, black pepper, cilantro, paprika), and dry yeast into the pan of a bread machine individually in order as listed. Select Dough cycle; press Start. After taking the pizza dough out of the bread maker, let the dough rest 5 to 30 minutes before using; the longer it rests, the thicker the crust.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Spray a large pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface. Place dough on the pan and add your choice of pizza toppings. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 12 to 15 minutes. I use parchment paper for the pizza and put it on a very hot pizza stone in the oven. Enjoy!
