USDA planting zones help gardeners determine which plants and seeds are most likely to thrive in their specific climate based on average annual minimum winter temperatures. You can find your zone by entering your ZIP code on the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map. When the USDA page opens, click OK on the image. Then enter your ZIP code to find your planting zone if you’re not sure what it is using the link below. This is the latest map offered by the USDA.
