Fly Issues
My coop constantly has flies either around it or in it. I’m wondering if anyone knows of any repellent that is poultry safe? I found “Diatomaceous Earth” that would be poultry safe. Has anyone used this for their coop/run? Anything can help!

Re: Fly Issues
I have tried DE and saw no improvment. I had a mite infestation some years ago. I sprayed Permethrin. To my surprise it got rid of the mites and the flies and is cost effective compared to some other products.
Here is a chart a friend made for the different concentrations. A bonus is there is no egg withdrawal period.
I have attached this in other posts. The lines marked in yellow worked best for me.
