6 chopped slices of fried bacon.
1/2 onion chopped
4 chopped cloves of garlic
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 cups of chicken stock
2 cups of milk
2 lbs of potatoes diced
Fry the bacon and chop it up and remove from the pot. Add the chopped onion and saute untill translucent. Add minced garlic for about a minute. Add potatoes with chicken stock or broth. Mix the flour in with the milk and add. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes and serve. Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top, (optional)
