Guinea fowl

Other poultry refers to domesticated birds such as ducks, geese, quail, pheasants, and guinea fowl that are not classified as chickens or turkeys. These birds are often raised for meat, eggs, or feathers and play important roles in agriculture, culinary traditions, and specialty farming.

Guinea fowl

Post by HFFAdmin »

Experiences with guinea fowl (guineas) for pest control or eggs.

Raising guinea fowl involves providing them with ample space to free-range, as they thrive in open environments. They are excellent for pest control and can also be raised for their meat and eggs.

Domestic guinea fowl can be identified by their various color mutations. Common varieties include Pearl Gray, Royal Purple, Silver, Lavender, and Coral Blue, each with distinct appearances such as different shades and patterns on their feathers.
